Setting up a scaffolding tower by yourself can be a challenging task. The first base section is usually the trickiest part if you don’t have any help holding the frames while connecting diagonal and horizontal braces.

To remedy this problem you can get a scaffolding tower with a folding base. These bases just folds up and are very easy to handle. This model is used at the smaller jobs where you don’t need any adjustable legs or platform heights over 12 ft. Aluspeed is available only as Single Wide and 6 ft long.

The Quick-Base compared to Aluspeed comes with horizontal braces that folds, support adjustable legs, single or double width and is available 6, 8 and 10 ft long. The Quick-Base is an optional upgrade available to most scaffolding packages offered by Scaffold USA.

Some structures have limited access and need scaffolding products designed to fit through narrow manholes. Frame Scaffolding are often too wide to fit through the opening. You could use System Scaffolding but if you’re interested in lightweight and fast assembly you should go for Aluminum Tank Scaffolding. It is constructed to fit through the smallest openings and folds up.
